The Sun is a local village pub in the centre of Windlesham with all the usual attributes of beer and food plus a play area for children in the garden. There’s a reasonable amount of parking, but if that’s full, you can park at the dairy across the road during the evening.
The Sun’s claim to fame is as one of the 5 pubs on the 3.7 mile Windlesham pram Race run every Boxing Day since 1967. Having passed by earlier, the race ends at the dairy opposite and needless to say, many of the contestants then choose to slake their thirst at The Sun.
